Al Gromer Khan plays classical Indian music on the sitar and the surbahar, and has enjoyed a 40-year relationship with the renowned Vilayat-Khani-Gharana house of music. This music originated in the early Vedic period and has been passed down from generation to generation. The experience of this rich musical tradition transcends the differences between cultures and people.
